Pro Golfer Alex Aragon was born March 11, 1979 in Mexico City, Mexico. He played collegiate golf at Stanford University, and turned professional in 2001. Alex played on the Web.com Tour in 2005, 2009, and 2012-13. His first victory took place at the TPC Stonebrae Championship in 2012. He soon won his second tournament at the 2013 WNB Golf Classic.
On the PGA TOUR, Aragon’s best finish was T27 at the 2006 84 Lumber Classic. In addition to the PGA TOUR and Web.com Tour, Alex has played on mini-tours, including the Tight Lies Tour in 2003 and the Gateway Tour in 2004.
His younger sister also attended Stanford University. Alex got his start in golf from his father, Enrique, who “loves golf more than anyone loves golf in the world.” The oldest club currently in Alex’s bag is a 3-wood that he’s had for six years.
